DNPA Code of Ethics

Purpose: At FrontNews24, we are committed to upholding the highest ethical standards across all our operations. This policy serves as a guide to ensure that every member of our team conducts themselves with integrity, adheres to all relevant laws and regulations, and avoids any actions driven by personal gain.

Gifts, Favors, and Payments:

  • Gifts, favors, and payments provided by FrontNews24 must conform to accepted business practices, be of nominal value, comply with applicable laws, and avoid potential embarrassment to the company if publicly disclosed.
  • Any payments, commissions, or compensation to associates of customers without a written contractual agreement are strictly prohibited and a violation of company policy.

Gifts, Favors, Entertainment, and Payments Received:

  • Associates must refrain from soliciting or accepting gifts, favors, entertainment, or payments that lack a legitimate business purpose, especially from entities doing or seeking to do business with FrontNews24.
  • Exceptions may be made for customary business courtesies and gifts of nominal value. However, strict guidelines apply, particularly regarding gifts from suppliers.

Conflicts of Interest:

  • Associates should avoid situations where their personal interests conflict with those of FrontNews24 and promptly disclose any such conflicts to their manager.
  • This includes but is not limited to ownership in external enterprises conducting business with or competing against FrontNews24, serving in capacities with competitors, or any other circumstances that may compromise the company’s interests.

Confidential Information:

  • Unauthorized disclosure or use of confidential information is strictly prohibited, and any misuse will result in disciplinary action, including potential termination.

Compliance:

  • Violations of this policy will lead to disciplinary measures, up to and including termination of employment. Associates are obligated to report any known violations.

Social Media Guidelines:

Introduction:

  • Social media posts have a lasting impact and should be approached with good judgment, as they effectively represent public statements.
  • All associates must understand and comply with the company’s policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Be Careful What You Post:

  • Associates are personally accountable for their online activities, and inappropriate content may result in disciplinary action, including potential termination of employment.
  • Posts should reflect personal viewpoints, and any references to FrontNews24 should be clearly identified as personal opinions, distinct from the company’s official stance.

Maintain Respect and Professionalism:

  • Uphold professionalism and courtesy in all communications, avoiding posts that could be perceived as offensive, threatening, or harassing in nature.
  • Respect the privacy of others and refrain from sharing false, misleading, or unverified information.

Prioritize Honesty and Accuracy:

  • Accuracy is of paramount importance, and any mistakes should be promptly corrected. Associates should be transparent about any changes made to previous posts.

Respect Laws and Confidentiality:

  • Associates must comply with all applicable legal requirements and maintain confidentiality, including copyright and privacy laws. Confidential company information should never be disclosed without proper authorization.

Report Concerns Promptly:

  • Any concerns regarding potential policy violations should be reported to the Human Resources department promptly. FrontNews24 strictly prohibits retaliation against whistleblowers.

Uphold Integrity in Reporting:

  • Plagiarism is strictly prohibited at FrontNews24, and reporters must ensure fairness by providing all parties involved in a story with adequate opportunity to respond.
  • Reporters should strive for balanced and impartial coverage, presenting multiple perspectives and verifying information from credible sources.

Representation and Endorsements:

  • Associates should be mindful that their personal social media activities may be perceived as representing FrontNews24, even when that is not the intent.
  • Endorsements or promotion of external products, services, or companies should be avoided unless explicitly authorized by the company.

Monitoring and Compliance:

  • FrontNews24 reserves the right to monitor and review associates’ social media activities to ensure compliance with these guidelines and protect the company’s reputation.
  • Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
