Exploring the HP Amplify Partner Conference: AI Takes Center Stage in Shaping Our Future
Last week in Las Vegas, the HP Amplify Partner Conference shared a familiar theme seen in recent IT conferences, highlighting the significant role of AI in shaping our future. While HP Inc is widely recognized for its diverse hardware offerings, the prevailing public perception often labels it primarily as a printer company. Contrary to this perception, HP has shifted its focus over the years and currently stands as the second-largest PC maker globally, following Lenovo.
Reassuringly, the company stays true to its roots, persistently pushing the printing boundaries.
During the Amplify event, HP introduced the latest addition to its lineup—the HP Color LaserJet 3000 series. This release targets users seeking high performance within a compact footprint, specifically catering to the needs of small businesses that aspire to enjoy the performance levels typically associated with larger enterprises.
Fueling its capabilities is TerraJet, an energy-efficient toner technology designed to deliver vibrant colors and rapid print speeds.
HP also addressed the persistent misconception that printing is becoming obsolete in the business world. Despite the prevailing myth and despite clear evidence contradicting the idea of a paperless office, HP continues to provide solutions that align with the reality of ongoing printing needs.Based on HP’s SMB End-User Segmentation Research conducted in September 2023, encompassing a total sample of 4,234 respondents in the United States, Germany, China, and India, 80% of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) express a preference for a combination of digital and printed materials. In their perspective, the importance of impact and quality remains paramount.
In the era of hybrid work, as businesses reimagine their workspaces, the demand for high-performance solutions in small and flexible offices is on the rise,” stated Aurelio Maruggi, division president for office print solutions at HP. “With our new Color LaserJet Pro 3000 series, featuring innovative TerraJet technology, we deliver exceptional color quality, professional speed, and energy efficiency in a compact design. By optimizing printer manageability, we enable SMBs to save money, time, and effort, while ensuring high-quality prints, safeguarding sensitive information, and effortlessly adapting to collaborative and growth-oriented environments.
HP shared the following details about the new HP Color LaserJet Pro 3000 series:
The next-generation toner technology from HP, TerraJet, boasts a distinctive toner formula that enhances color richness and sharpness. Customers of the new Color LaserJet Pro 3000 series will experience 11% more vivid colors and 18% faster printing speeds, thanks to TerraJet technology. Beyond enhancements to the 3000 series, TerraJet also contributes to environmental sustainability by facilitating up to a 27% reduction in energy consumption and up to a 28% reduction in plastics used in toner cartridges, aligning with customers’ goals for a more sustainable future.
